I AM
a design ethnographer and research maker cultures in times of polycrisis. In my PhD at the Institute for Sociology and Cultural Organisation at Leuphana University Lüneburg, I explored urban living labs in the rural areas of North-Eastern Germany and investigated how they mobilise design as an agent of eco-social change. I have a background in integrative design, experimental typography and media studies.

GENERAL PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Prototyping ecologies often implies an anthropocentric perception and excludes non-human perspectives. Of course, we can barely overcome this. However, we approached a more-than-human prototyping through a Life Action Role Play (LARP). By taking on the role of a certain organism, the participants advocated for its needs and beliefs. As a living oikos we prototyped a symbiosis, foster synergies and negotiated a common ecology.
